Hi! I’m Dominique, the face behind Gusto & Grace. I was born in Athens, Greece and moved around a lot with my Air Force father and my family before finally settled down in Austin, Texas after getting married in 2013. I love transforming my husband’s former bachelor pad into our first home. In my mind, it will probably always be a work in progress, but it has come a long way. Around here, it is slow and steady progress towards a big and growing vision.Blogging challenges me to continue to grow, learn, and create. I hope Gusto and Grace encourages you to start where you are, make the most of what you have, and share your lives however they look.
Blogging and decorating are just a side hustle. I graduated from Texas Christian University (go Horned Frogs!) with a degree in Communication Studies. My day job is in Marketing and I use up every vacation hour I’m given travelling, which I also chronicle here. Other passions of mine include photography, eating dessert and everything about Christmas.
I aim to live with a little gusto and a lot of grace. Would you join in?
